SCHOOL ABOARD A CRUISE SHIP

Yesterday I worked with John Casbarro of Learning for Success, Inc. They manage a very worthwhile program called KAPOW (Kids And the Power Of Work). This South Florida organization partners businesses with teachers and schools to help students discover new and different jobs, what it takes to do them, and how everything they are learning in school helps them prepare for their futures in the workplace, and life.

This last Sunday, the CEO of MSC Cruises, Richard Sasso, had invited KAPOW’s kids aboard “MSC Poesia.” The students who were treated with the tour were from Doctor Martin Luther King Junior Elementary. The purpose was to educate the kids on what jobs were required to spoil the 3,605 guests aboard this 964 foot ship.

Below is a small sample of the day’s images.

Bon Voyage!
