ACCORDION ACOUSTICS

WHERE WE AT? I found some time for myself in Nice, France. I’m at the end of the day and getting tired as I was up all night working, but this scene was so interesting to me. The accordion music sounded amazing in this acoustic hall. If I closed my eyes, the sound reverberated everywhere…

TRANQUILITY

WHERE WE AT? I had more time in Nice, France. So here are some photos to share. As I walked along the beach there were a lot of Europeans from the North (i.e., London, Berlin, Copenhagen, etc.). It struck me as interesting how different cultures do things different at the beach. Americans sit on the beach…

REFLECTIONS AT THE PARK

WHERE WE AT? I had 4 days to wander about Nice, France. So I had plenty of time to get some exercise walking and exploring with my camera. It’s nice just to people watch here…espresso in hand…and enjoying the bit of sun that was warming me up. Does anyone actually dislike Europe? HOW DID I DO…

We pass through Cuneo & Saluzzo (Italy) before ending the day in Pinerolo (Italy).

LOST IN THE ALPS :: “CONFUSED BUT NOT LOST” (EPISODE 6)

Leaving Susa (Italy), we get confused…but not lost…in a small village called Giaglione (Italy) and eventually cross the Alps via “The Road of Stones” to Col du Mont Cenis (France). Northeast of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc (France) was the best ride I have ever had running through the “twisties”. It was a short-cut that turned out to be a great ride of “follow the leader” across the Swiss border. The day ends with our arrival into Martigny (Switzerland).

LOST IN THE ALPS :: “DIVERSIONS” (EPISODE 7)

Departing Martigny (Switzerland), we weave our way to Zermatt (Switzerland). In Zermatt, we take the train that climbs the mountain to view The Matterhorn (no automotive traffic allowed). We depart in the afternoon for a ride that crosses back over the Alps getting us into Albertville (France) in the evening.
